Best Execution Policy
Royal Exchange Investment Management Limited is an authorised investment firm which has regulatory permission to receive and transmit investment orders on behalf of its clients.
These investment orders relate to the investment management, advice and execution-only services that we provide, and their execution necessarily requires that we transmit your orders to third-party entities.
One consequence arising from these order transmission services is that we are subject to regulatory oversight for the manner in which they are delivered.
Regulatory Obligations
When transmitting investment orders for execution, we are obliged to take all sufficient steps to ensure the best possible results for you.
The ‘best possible result’ is determined by our assessment of factors including price, costs, speed and likelihood of execution.
Our policy
Our Best Execution policy is to place all trades with Raymond James Investment Services Limited, who act as your administrator for execution. We regard this arrangement as an appropriate best execution measure as we consider Raymond James to be a cost-effective service provider with extensive venue access and an established reputation for service delivery across the financial services sector.
Specific instructions
In circumstances where you provide specific instructions as to how, or through whom, your order is to be executed, we will take all reasonable steps to accommodate your direction.
Monitoring
As a firm, we have daily interaction with Raymond James as our chosen order execution partner, and ongoing visibility of the price and quality of the services they provide. Any operational failures that are identified can be promptly escalated for remediation.
Governance
Our Board of Directors has responsibility for the oversight of our relationship with Raymond James and their performance as our order execution partner.
